I won’t have much time to do any research over the next few days. If there’s any breaking news, there’ll be a news ticker and otherwise I might post a photo with a short text every day. But right now the update for the OM-1 book has absolute priority. So I’ll be hanging around outside with the big Think Tank Logistic Manager full of lenses and photographing everything that moves to understand the new AF. Fortunately, the weather and light are good – something might work out.
The bayonet issue is being worked on at full speed in Japan, so nothing can be accelerated from here. The way it looks now, a supplier wanted to save a few cents and thought nobody would notice. They are now working on a really good solution to the problem. But good things take time.
So if nothing comes in one morning, I probably haven’t fallen into the swamp – it’s just that nothing important has happened.
