It just came in the Facebook feed of OMDS. Melanie Többe is an Ambassador. freelance photographer specializing in outdoor, lifestyle and adventure. She took a photography course in Australia during her studies in 2018 and loved it so much that she decided to become a photographer. If you want to see what she photographed in Australia, here is her flickr account. Most of the pictures were taken with a Canon 1100D, but you’ll be amazed to hear that there are also pictures taken with an E-450. (Hello Ms. Többe, you now work at the OMDS embassy, where can I submit a request for the FT stuff to be repaired…?)
She’s also present on Insta, of course, as an influencer you have to be, and three months ago she was still running around with a Canon and advertising cuddly blankets and LightRoom presets. Of course, she also has her own website (I informed her by email that the private tax number has no place in the legal notice and she reacted promptly and removed the number. If she had responded just as promptly and said thank you for the hint, then perhaps a wonderful friendship would have developed… and I would have explained to her that, in Germany, you also have to be a member of the HWK as an outdoor contract photographer)
In addition to influencing, she also does very solid things: Just advertising. She learned it, studied it and she’s pretty good at it. You can check it out here.
She has an impressive “References” page. There is also “Outfluence” – the influencer agency for outdoor. Which also explains how a Canon photographer came to be an ambassador for OM-System.
So, a tip to all #naturelover who want to influence: This is how it works. And of course the site has to be in English.

Was mich wundert hat OMDS nicht ihr “About me” gelesen? Da schwärmt sie über ihre Nikon und es gibt kein Ton über andere Marken. Da hätte ich schon ein paar Takte zu ihre OMDS Ambassador Ausrüstung erwartet.
OM System hat es NUR in den geldgeber Bereich geschafft (References).
Du verstehst das falsch. Botschafter sind immer im Ausland tätig – in dem Fall bei Nikon und Canonfans. Im Inland braucht man keine Botschafter. Für das eigene Volk gibt es Finanzbeamte.
Ah! jetzt ist es mir klar geworden, ich hätte gleich den richtigen Blickwinkel zur Situation nehmen müssen.
Und ich hatte mich schon gefreut, das OMDingsda endlich gescheite Hardware (CaNikon) liefert…

Die Fotos finde ich übrigens nicht schlecht, vor allem die unter People. Ein gutes Auge hat sie definitiv.
Ist für mich Influencer-Mainstream. Schon tausendmal gesehen.
Allerdings finde ich die Nummer ziiiiiemlich krass. In den letzten drei Jahren ist sie mit Canon rumgelaufen, schreibt aber in ihrer Website, sie hätte ihre “geliebte Nikon” dabeigehabt – und dann, dass sie seit drei Jahren mit OM-Systemkamera rumläuft. Vor drei Jahren gab’s OM-System noch gar nicht. Es ist einfach erbärmlich, wenn man so stumpf belogen wird.
Bis Ende letzten Jahres hatte sie übrigens ihre Website noch auf Deutsch und war “Outdoor und People-Fotografin”. Kam scheint’s nicht so gut an. Jetzt eben “Outdoor und Lifestyle”. Und bis Ende letzten Jahres stand im “über mich” auch nichts über die Kameramarke…
