Following a request, I checked the feasibility of a battery adapter for the OM-1. Reinhard was kind enough to measure the battery for me. I have now built a prototype and am looking for someone in Vienna who can provide me with an OM-1 to try out the adapter.
Trying it on takes just 15 minutes, in case I need to mark something to change. In the worst case, a second appointment if I’m too far off the mark.
If the test is positive, BLX-1 adapters will be available immediately as long as I have contact boards for BLH-1 and BLX-1 in stock.
So if anyone in Vienna could make their OM-1 available for a short time, please contact Helge via Helge’s website.
I know that I have readers in Vienna – but of course I can’t pass on the addresses. Not even to Helge. So please get in touch.

Ich war gestern im Fotozentrum in Krems (das lag gerade gut auf dem Weg ins Waldviertel) und habe den Adapter erfolgreich an einer OM-1 getestet.
Der Adapter kann also ab sofort bestellt werden. Meine Webseite wird in den nächsten Tagen diesbezüglich aktualisiert.
Auch wenn OMDS gerade nicht so rund läuft, auf die Community ist nach wie vor Verlass.
Danke Helge für die schnelle Lieferung. Jetzt kann ich die Tropfenfotografie im Dauerdurchlauf bewerkstelligen, ohne Akkuwechsel zwischendurch. 😉
