After I received an e-mail and doubts were expressed in the comments about the weight of my tripod, here is a picture of it.
I had never weighed the tripod. It is definitely very heavy. I have now found the old brochure for the SCS-1 at Cambo, and with all the accessories the thing weighs about 117kg. So sorry – I’ve shamelessly exaggerated again.
As much as I like working with the Berlebachs, I do all the product photos, stackings and also any lens and camera tests with the Cambo. When you fix the rollers, you have to be really goofy to blur anything.

Da kann man auch wirklich mal eine Mittelformat (4,5×6 6×9) oder Großformat (13×18) Kamera anschrauben. Natürlich geht auch eine Vollformatkamera mit 24x36mm.

Das waren noch Zeiten: die RB67 auf so einem Studiostativ, ein weiteres Magazin und 2 Objektive auf der Ablage… und alle 10 Bilder war ein Film voll….
Bei dem Dielenboden und Holzbalkenunterbau? muss man aber ganz gut die Luft beim fotografieren anhalten können. Sonst nutzen die ganzen Kilos nicht viel. Aber praktisch ist so ein Teil allemal.
